The cloud platform is the middle of the solution chain. Data from every 4G GPS device and every RFID read flows into it, and the school dashboard, the parent mobile application and the reporting all draw from it.

Its responsibilities are centralised data management, reporting and system connectivity. Connectivity is the part institutions tend to underestimate: transportation data is considerably more valuable when it can reach the other systems a school already runs, which is why integration with existing software is one of the ten parameters a solution is scoped against.

The platform can be customised according to the institution’s requirements, and provides access through the school dashboard, the parent mobile application, and mobile or desktop access for designated users and operational teams.
